Music tour René! I'm Still Standing

At every artwork in the exhibition René! I'm Still Standing! you can listen to music that has been specially selected by Pepijn Lanen.

Known as Faberyayo from De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Pepijn chose a track for each piece that matches the feeling or story behind the artwork. During moments that are particularly meaningful or vulnerable, both art and music can provide support and help to experience and process emotions. As guest curator for the exhibition, Pepijn has selected a track for each artwork and explains in the music tour why he chose that specific song. Scan the QR codes next to the artworks to start the tour.

The music tour is free for visitors of the exhibition and available in both Dutch and English. You can follow the tour at your own pace on your phone, alone or with others. Prefer listening over reading? That's also possible! If you want to view the tour again later, you can receive it by email and listen to it at home.

Pepijn Lanen, also known by his stage name Faberyayo, is a Dutch rapper and writer. He is a member of De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig and made his debut as an author in 2013. His most recent book is Gezeik (2024). In addition to the music tour in the exhibition, there is also a Spotify playlist available of songs selected by Pepijn.
