MEZZ: New Purple Celebration

New Purple Celebration was founded in 2004 and has toured extensively over the years. Throughout that time, the band has sought to capture the essence of a true Prince show: music from start to finish, with an energetic live performance that keeps the audience on their feet throughout. It is one of the few Prince shows outside Europe with a full line-up of guitar, keyboards and drums. The band is led by founder and frontman Jimi Love. Together with top musicians, he guarantees a fully live concert, with vocals, guitars, keyboards and brass, and absolutely no backing tracks. That has been the band’s firm guiding principle since its foundation.
