Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Melle captures the magic of music in honest and organically sounding songs. With great passion, he sings about love and loss. From energetic pop songs reminiscent of Sam Fender and Coldplay to intimate acoustic ballads that evoke Phoebe Bridgers and Sufjan Stevens.

Melle has an enormous collection of unique instruments such as a tzouras, balalaika, theremin, taishogoto, zither, and many more, 23 of which he plays on his debut album. He believes that real, analog instruments always add much more character to a song than digital sounds. In recent years, Melle has become a significant presence in the Dutch music scene. He won the 'Nobel Award Leiden' and 'Mooie Noten Amsterdam' and his music has been played extensively on national radio.

This year, he is touring as the opening act for Douwe Bob with 21 shows across the Netherlands while also working on new music. The first tracks from this will be heard for the first time this autumn during his first own club tour and now also at MEZZ!
