Matt Bianco at MEZZ

The legendary British band Matt Bianco was founded in 1982 by bassist Kito Poncioni, keyboardist Danny White and singer Mark Reilly. The group originated from the jazz-pop band Blue Rondo à la Turk. In the 1980s, Matt Bianco grew into a well-known name, with a distinctive sound that brings together jazz, pop and Latin influences. With the album 'Masquerader' (2025), Matt Bianco once again demonstrates its musical class. The album features eight compact tracks and is like a shot of espresso: energetic, refreshing and full of flavour. The infectious uptempo numbers, swinging Latin rhythms and refined arrangements form the essence of the Matt Bianco sound. Today, the name Matt Bianco is inextricably linked to Mark Reilly. As the driving force behind the project, he safeguards its recognisable musical identity and builds on the band’s history. Matt Bianco proves that creativity, craftsmanship and a love of music are still very much alive.
