Marissa Nadler at MEZZ

For more than twenty years, Nadler—also a producer and visual artist—has been building a distinctive body of work that refuses to be pigeonholed. She has made ten solo albums and worked with artists from a wide range of genres. Her latest record, ‘New Radiations’ (Sacred Bones and Bella Union), features imaginative stories set within layered productions and an expansive soundscape. Live, she performs alongside her regular musical partner Milky Burgess, whose arrangements can also be heard on ‘Strangers’ and ‘The Path of the Clouds’. As a duo, they bring the atmosphere and complexity of the studio recordings to the stage. Meanwhile, Nadler is already working on a new album.
