A unique opportunity to run or visit the Breda marathon.Course The course of the marathon passes locations that are linked to Breda's royal past. Breda is after all the cradle of our Dutch royal family. Many places in Breda still remind us of the time when the House of Nassau ruled here. The full marathon consists of two loops. The first loop goes from SPRINT through the city centre back to SPRINT. The second loop then goes through the rural area.Duo Marathon In addition to the full marathon distance of over 42 km, it is also possible to run a DUO marathon. In a DUO marathon, two people run the full marathon distance, each running half a marathon. Runner 1 runs the first loop of the course. The track at SPRINT is the exchange point, where runner 2 then runs the second half of the marathon. The start/finish for the DUO marathon is also at the athletics track at SPRINT.Registration for the (Duo) Marathon is no longer possible.

After the 2021 Breda Marathon was cancelled due to COVID, it is finally going to happen: a one-time marathon in Breda.
