Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop

Step by step, you’ll learn how to make a macramé plant hanger: from cutting the cords to length and learning different knots, to adding beads. After two hours, you’ll have made your own bespoke plant hanger.

Do you feel you’re not very crafty yet? Several basic hangers will also be prepared, so you only need to learn the stitches/knots and can still finish your own plant hanger using a variety of beads.

If you already have a pot at home that the hanger will go around, it’s a good idea to bring it with you. That way, you can make it to exactly the right size. We recommend not choosing a stone pot that is too heavy or too large, as the finished piece will then become very heavy.
There are also pots in various sizes available, so you can make the hanger to the right size.

During the workshop, you will preferably work standing up. The hanger will hang in front of you from a bar above the table. If standing is not possible for you, please let us know beforehand and we’ll look for a suitable solution together.

Coffee, tea and a tasty treat are included in the workshop.
