Lievense Live: The Rossinis & ScoobySnacks

De Rossinis

De Rossinis are an Amsterdam trio operating at the intersection of punk, noise and alternative rock. With a raw, dynamic and wonderfully chaotic sound, the band delivers a distinctive mix of musical influences.

The band consists of Tinus Rossini (guitar and vocals), Bobbie Rossini (bass and vocals) and Ricky Rossini (drums and vocals). The three experienced musicians found each other in the alternative underground scene and make music that cannot easily be pigeonholed. Expect explosive garage rock, unexpected twists and a generous dose of passion and energy.

ScoobySnacks

ScoobySnacks are a punk-rock trio from Bavel who give well-known classics their own distinctive twist. With plenty of tongue-in-cheek humour and infectious energy, the band delivers a mix of punk nostalgia and surprising covers.

The trio consists of vocalist and bassist Harvey Sengers (The Hearted & The Traveling Psychoward), vocalist and guitarist Diego 'The Don' Michielsen (BANGBANG) and drummer Federico Ghedin.

Songs by Bad Religion, Misfits, Green Day and Motörhead, among others, feature in their set, interspersed with their own punk-rock interpretations of well-known rock and pop classics.

With the single Bloedheet verrast, a distinctive punk version of Jerry Lee Lewis' Great Balls of Fire, and shows in Germany, ScoobySnacks have already made quite an impression. With Scoobyfest, festival appearances and new music, the band continues to go from strength to strength.
