Guitarist and singer Jan de Bruijn has been one of the most distinctive voices in the Dutch blues, soul, and roots scene for more than forty years. With bands such as The Crew and The Gonnabee’z, he played a prominent role in the international club and festival circuit. His powerful voice, seasoned guitar playing, and authentic stage presence have taken him to stages with artists like Johnny Copeland, Jerry McCain, Calvin Owens, and Bløf. The albums The Long Way Home, Bittersweet, and The Child Remains confirm his reputation as a versatile songwriter and performer. 

The performance
At Café Lievense, Jan is supported by Stephen Wilkinson, bassist Carlo van Belleghem, and drummer Pieter Doms. Together, they deliver an evening full of blues, soul, roots, and original work, performed with craftsmanship, emotion, and the energy that has characterized Jan de Bruijn for decades. Carlo van Belleghem and Pieter Doms are also trusted musical partners within various projects of De Bruijn.
