Lievense Jazz Sundays: Stan van de Wetering

Café Lievense and Stichting Jazz Collectief are joining forces for a new monthly jazz series.

One Sunday a month, Café Lievense becomes the stage for a special jazz concert, with room for musicianship, improvisation and, above all, beautiful live music.

A relaxed Sunday afternoon, a good drink and jazz as it was meant to be: intimate, pure and live.

About Stan van de Wetering
Stan van de Wetering is a Dutch tenor saxophonist. He studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam under Ferdinand Povel and Simon Rigter. He also spent three months in New York taking lessons from saxophonist Grant Stewart.

Stan plays in the jazz tradition and is known for his clear sound, improvisations and technical mastery of the saxophone. He is active as a soloist and continues to develop within jazz.
