Keshavara and Cavolo Nero in MEZZ

Keshavara prefer to find their place in the shimmer rather than on the map: somewhere between Cologne and South India. Somewhere between krautpop, psychedelic soundtracks and a dialect born of English, German, Tamil and gibberish. October sees the release of ‘Moondrām Sevi’, the band’s fourth album. The title means ‘third ear’ in Tamil. It leads to a place where memories, fantasy and a number of misunderstood film scenes begin to fade.

Cavolo Nero is a psychedelic groove band from Utrecht that combines exotic rhythms with modern club influences. Inspired by funk, disco and afrobeat, the band creates a unique and highly danceable sound with which they get audiences moving at countless festivals.
