History Month: Lecture on the Cult of the Dead
As part of History Month 2026, whose theme is Body and Mind, historian and philosopher Eric van Waalwijk van Doorn will give a lecture on the death cult of Ancient Egypt on behalf of the PostSchool.

Through the myth of Osiris – god of the Nile, the underworld and rebirth – the role of the mortuary cult in the worldview of Ancient Egypt becomes clear. A lecture on a civilisation in which body and mind were inextricably linked.
