Gilde Breda: Nature Walk in Dorst Forestry Area

Explore the Dorst forest area together with a nature guide from Gilde Breda. This extensive nature reserve of more than 1,100 hectares lies between Rijen, Oosterhout and Dorst and consists of woodland, sand drifts and gently rolling open fields.

During the walk, you will discover the varied natural surroundings and may encounter Galloway cattle grazing in the area. You will also learn more about the area’s role as a water extraction area for the De Baronie region.

Good to know: The walking route is accessible via a stile and is therefore not suitable for cyclists, horses, mobility walkers or pushchairs.
