Gilde Breda: Moeren Cycling Tour
Discover the landscape to the north-east and east of Breda on this cycling tour by Gilde Breda. The route takes you past ’s Gravenmoer, Vaart and De Moer, among other places. In the past, a great deal of peat was extracted in this area, as the name De Moer still recalls.
Information
On the way, you’ll pass special places such as the Spanish Cemetery, and cycle back to Breda via the Vrachelse Heath. During the route, you’ll learn more about the history of the area, peat extraction and the distinctive strip landscape.
