Who determines the story? During Festival Strijdbare Vrouwen, Filmhuis Botanique Breda focuses on International Women's Day and explores how women's stories change the conversation in film, culture, politics, and society.

Expect an inspiring weekend with films and documentaries, talks and debates, live music, a Fado Lounge and plenty of room for meeting during brunch and dinner - all in a familiar Filmhuis atmosphere.
With prominent guests such as Victoria Koblenko, Attje Kuiken, Elanor Boekholt, Carla van Loon, Grietje Braaksma, Dolle Mina, Bocca Bella and many others. Festival Strijdbare Vrouwen is part of Strijdbare Vrouwen, Weerbare Democratie (1 to 15 March), a collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and the Maczek Memorial.
