Exhibition: Zonuren, een appèl vanuit

With hammocks, temperature branches, rustling curtains, collective sit-ins, preserving apples, composing sounds, assembling shadow and time, the notion of seasonality and the importance of slowing down are brought into focus. An exhibition as residency, a camp set up on site, where we collectively reflect on summers past and experience hours of sunshine in a changing climate.

z o m e r e n (Aliki van der Kruijs, Lenn Cox, Melanie Bomans, Niki Milioni, Rosanne van Wijk, Sanne Karssenberg) is a collective of makers and cultural workers who, from a range of practices – textiles, clothing, sound, image(grammar), systems, weather, ecotones, economies, somatics, pedagogy and forms of collectivity – engage with relationality; the idea that people, things and concepts do not exist in isolation, but are always in relation to others, their surroundings and relationships.
