Education Program - Dutch Game Week 2026

During Dutch Game Week 2026, pupils have the opportunity to discover the creative and technical world behind games. The Education Program brings professionals from the games industry into the classroom or takes pupils on visits to game studios and companies in Breda.

The program consists of two parts:

Dutch Game Week in the Classroom - Bring the games industry to your school! During inspiring guest lessons, professionals talk about their work, careers and experiences. From programmers and game artists to event organisers and entrepreneurs: pupils discover which careers are available and what it is like to work in the games industry.

Dutch Game Week Excursions - Take your class behind the scenes at game studios and companies in Breda. During an excursion, pupils discover how games are developed, which creative and technical skills are involved and how different professionals work together. They also get to try things out themselves during a short, interactive workshop.

Who is the programme for?
The Education Program is suitable for pupils in the upper years of primary school and all years of secondary school. It connects with subjects including art, media, design, CKV, (creative) technology and careers guidance.

The guest lessons and excursions can be delivered in Dutch or English.
