Christmas Eve in the Grote Kerk Breda

Celebrate the light of Christmas. Vocaal Breda (Breda Choir Academy) sings beautiful carols and preachers Thijske Fraanje and Ton van Prooijen (from the Protestant Community of Breda) read the Christmas story. Several well-known Christmas carols are also sung together. Aart Bergwerff plays the organ and Marjan van der Wel plays the trumpet. 

The same service is held twice. Once at 19:00 and once at 21:00. The singing together begins at 18:40 and 20:40 respectively.

Admission is free (reservations for seats are not necessary/possible). A collection is taken at the exit for the Breda Food Bank.

Vocaal Breda
Vocaal Breda (the Choir Academy) was established in 2020 from the nearly 100-year-old tradition of the boys' choir of the Sacraments Choir. The Lessons & Carols on Christmas Eve are a regular and cherished part of this long tradition. 

Christmas Eve in the Grote Kerk is organized by the Protestant Community of Breda. Everyone is welcome.
