Chicco in MEZZ

Chicco is a The Hague-based artist who has grown into a recognizable name in the Dutch pop and folk scene over the past few years. He broke through nationally in the SBS6 programme De Hollandse Nieuwe, where his emotional and humorous performance of ‘Adio Amore’ immediately caught the attention of the audience and jury. 

Following this, his breakthrough single ‘Veeg Ze Van Het Matje’ became a national anthem, widely picked up in pubs, living rooms, and on social media. His career then gained further momentum. In 2025, Chicco sold out the large hall of PAARD in The Hague entirely on his own and supported Goldband in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. 

He is currently featured in the SBS6 reality series Oh Oh Den Haag, where viewers get an insight into his life, personality and his roots.
