Café Lievense Live: Screaming Bananas & ALLUS

Screaming Bananas: (Runner-Up)
A SB show is like a rocket launched with duct tape and good intentions. A performance by this punk-pop-funk band starts with a deafening bang, shoots off in every direction, and by the time the smoke has cleared, you’re wondering whether it was ever meant to fly in the first place. Live, Screaming Bananas are all about fun and dynamism. They play as if it’s their final show, even when it’s just Friday night at a pub. They love pace, compactness and making sure there’s always something to watch. It’s about visible commitment, approachable interaction with the audience and, above all, not taking themselves too seriously. Screaming Bananas: four lads, eight hands, zero brakes.

ALLUS: (Winner)
Ask anyone who has seen ALLUS live for their opinion and they’ll all agree: this is the festival act of the 2020s. From the football pitch to the studio, from road bikes to strings and from Mum’s attic bedroom to the biggest stages. ALLUS wins the hearts of everyone who hears and sees them. With sharp, personal lyrics, virtuoso melodies and, above all, unforgettable, energetic live shows, the lads have already made their way into the hearts of many. Young, old, men and women, or anything in between and beyond; ALLUS has something for everyone. From their hometown of Groet, the lads have already brought the Alkmaar region to its knees; now the rest of the Netherlands lies at their feet. Passion, diversity but above all fun are the most important pillars of the ALLUS team of friends. Expect to dance, jump and perhaps even shed a tear as a whole range of musical genres takes centre stage. With ALLUS, you’ll never be bored…
