Breda City Walk: Wild Tea Herbs
Curious about which urban plants in Breda can be used to make tea? On Friday 2 October, you can walk a route along the canal in Breda under the guidance of Ilse Wolf. Along the way, you’ll learn more about the different plants that grow here, which ones you can use and how to turn them into tea.

The workshop is part of the preparations for the theatre performance LOOS – ’t verschil zit ’m in de T, which is part of the project 'Uit je Dak!'. This performance is a co-production by Juup Luijten, Schippers&VanGucht and a theatre group of (formerly) homeless people. On 10 October, during World Homeless Day, they will present this performance at Podium Bloos. More information and tickets for the performance and the accompanying dinner on Saturday 10 October are available via www.uit-je-dak.nl. The harvested plants collected during the workshop will play a special role in the performance: during LOOS, tea will be brewed from these urban plants, forming a prominent part of the performance.
