Boat tour around the canals of Breda
Information
Discover Breda from the water and experience that Breda is a green city and not without reason has been awarded the title of National Park City. The boat tour takes you right past the city centre, but the hustle and bustle of the city seems far away.
Boat trips around the Breda canals are an experience for young and old. Cruise company De Nieuwe Mark operates with electrically powered boats. This way, you sail quietly, sustainably, and environmentally friendly.
The skipper tells you about interesting places you pass such as the Spanjaardsgat, Breda Castle, the Dome (former prison), and Chassé Park on your journey.
Schedule season 2025:
- 16 June to 31 October
- daily 10:00-18:00 (last departure 17:00) - times may be subject to change
Reservations
Booking a canal cruise in advance can be done online or at the Explore Breda Store. Tickets can also be bought at the boarding boat at the Harbour.
Wheelchair lift
The large tour boat, which is also wheelchair accessible, is undergoing major maintenance. As a result, unfortunately, there will be no opportunities for wheelchair users to sail this season.
Groups
Groups can rent a whole boat with a skipper. Call 06-20015533 to discuss options.
Looking for skippers!
