Dichter in het park brings you an afternoon full of poetry, spoken word, and music. Let yourself be carried away by words and sounds in an intimate circle around the old amber tree and get to know the artwork Adore.

About Manouk de Weert

Manouk is a poet and spoken word artist who, with her initiative ‘Uit je Dak!’ (Out of your Roof!), bridges the gap between (former) homeless people and artists. She always writes and creates from her heart, fascination, and sensory stimulation, with special attention to ‘underdogs’.

By sharing stories and art about vulnerability and homelessness, she aims to break isolation, develop talents, strengthen social cohesion, and reduce stigmas in Breda.

You will be received on the day from 13:00 in the condolence room De Oase. This space is easily accessible from the main parking lot on Tuinzigtlaan. The route will be clearly indicated.

At 14:00, you will walk together to ADORE, where the program will commence.
