Academy workshops - Dutch Game Week

Want to learn more about game development, art & design or creative technology? During the Academy Workshops, part of Dutch Game Week 2026, it’s all about discovering, experimenting and developing new skills for yourself.

On 17 and 18 November, Dutch Game Week Academy is bringing Playgrounds Academy’s hands-on workshops to Breda. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced artists and developers from the international games industry.

In small groups, you’ll get hands-on yourself, guided by professionals who share their knowledge, techniques and experience with you. This gives you not only a behind-the-scenes look at the creative industry, but also skills you can apply directly to your own work or projects.

The Academy Workshops are ideal for creative makers, students, game developers and anyone looking to further develop their skills in art, design and game development.

The workshops are made possible by Playgrounds Academy and Wacom. More information about the participating artists, the workshop content and registration will be announced soon.
