10th edition NK Risk

Whether you’re an experienced strategist or have only just mastered the rules, everyone is welcome to join in. Alongside challenging strategic battles, the Dutch Risk Championship is known for its warm, convivial atmosphere, with good food and time spent together.

On Saturday 9 January 2027, the tenth edition of the Dutch Risk Championship will take place at The Dock in Breda. A special anniversary edition of the popular board game, in which participants from across the Netherlands will compete against one another. What started as an idea in a student house grew, thanks to a Breda family and a large group of volunteers, into a national championship. With 410 registrations already in the first month, the organisers hope to break the record of 550 participants during this anniversary edition. This tenth edition also marks a new chapter: after ten years, the current organising team is handing over the reins to a new generation of organisers.
