At the edge of Boswachterij Dorst lies Natuurpoort Bos & Co, the ideal starting point for a lovely walk or cycle ride. Walk through the open drift sand area or hop on the mountain bike for one of the most highly rated mountain bike courses in the Netherlands. This area was formerly known as Seterse Heide. At Bos & Co, you can grab a delicious drink to go.

Would you like to walk through the Barony? Then you are at the right place with Nature Gate Landgoed Wolfslaar. Walk past historic oaks in the Ulvenhoutse Forest, cycle along the winding river through the Markdal, or experience the serene tranquility of the Strijbeekse Heide.

Just a half-hour drive from Breda, you'll find Natuurpoort Visdonk in Roosendaal, the perfect starting point for a lovely bike or walking tour. Find tranquillity at the Rozenven, learn more about nature, and enjoy the panoramic views over the fields.

In less than half an hour's drive, you'll arrive at Nature Gate De Roovertsche Leij in Goirle. Elegant country houses and farms reflect its rich history. Winding through the area are small rivers, also known as ‘Leijen’, which, together with ponds, heath, forests, and charming villages, make this region very diverse.

Baronie Gates unlock valuable nature reserves or special cultural-historical sites in De Baronie. Each Baronie Gate is recognised by a pillar bearing the name Baronie Gate. Here you'll also find panels with information about routes in the area. Each gate has its own theme and legend. You can listen to the story on site via the QR code on the pillar.

At the stunning Wolfslaar Estate, you can really go in any direction. Farm Wolfslaar has specialised in all kinds of traditional Dutch farm animals. A very nice place for children. They can play with the animals and, through play, learn a lot about nature and energy. At Charlotte’s Garden House, you can settle in for a (h)ealthy cup of coffee with homemade cake or organic lunch. 
The heart of the estate is formed by the beautiful manor house, used for receptions and weddings. In the coach house, you'll find Breda’s only Michelin-starred restaurant. 
Furthermore, it is a fantastic walking area with ponds and rolling paths.

The Heimolen is located in the outskirts of Rucphen, where various cycling routes pass by. In addition to the Heimolen in Rucphen, Gasterij de Heimolen was opened in April 2022.

The monastic community of Sint-Catharinadal (since 1271) is the longest continuously existing female monastic community in the Netherlands. The priory of Sint-Catharinadal has been based since 1647 in the little castle De Blauwe Camer in Oosterhout, one of the most beautiful monuments of North Brabant.

The Turfvaart borders the Leurse Haven, which flows into the River de Mark. In this area, you can find beautiful walking routes. The closest nature reserve, Kelsdonk/Zwermlaken, is a unique area at the transition from sand to clay. 
Westpolderpad 6, Etten-Leur

This Barony Gate provides access to De Strijbeekse Heide. This former heathland area was cultivated from 1932 onwards and partly reforested with conifers and partly transformed into agricultural land. At the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, smugglers once slipped through the woods. Risking their own lives, they smuggled people and goods across the border. Goudbergseweg 8, Strijbeek

Baroniepoort ’t Pannehûske is located right in the nature reserve De Oude Buisse Heide. This heathland, together with Wallsteijn and De Moeren, forms a beautiful walking area near Zundert. There are numerous marked walking routes alongside tea pavilions, country houses, gardens, and ponds. Come here and truly relax!
Roosendaalsebaan 4, Achtmaal

Hills, quarries, and flower-rich meadows characterise the Pannenhoef. The area is approximately 580 hectares in size. From the 14th to the 17th century, the low low peat was excavated in this part of North Brabant down to the sandy subsoil.  
Zundertseweg 66 Etten-Leur

This Barony Gate is the resting spot for cyclists, mountain bikers, walkers, and families with children. It is located close to the Vrachelse Heide forest area. Pannenkoekenhuis Koeckers is the place to be for children, parents, and grandparents!
