The municipality of Breda has started the development of Het Levensbos in the Haagse Beemden. This new forest of 10 hectares will be filled with trees and shrubs, allowing nature to take its course here. Residents can donate a piece of forest, either for themselves or for someone dear to them.
The idea for Het Levensbos originated a few years ago and is made possible by the Groen Ontwikkelfonds Brabant from the province of Noord-Brabant. Together with parties such as the Natuur- en Milieuvereniging Markkant, Staatsbosbeheer, and Zuylen, the Municipality of Breda is working on this special project.
