On Sunday 13 September, city storyteller Hubertus will take you on a journey through the eventful history of the Pearl of the South. It feels as though you are stepping into an adventure book when you set off with Hubertus through Breda city centre. Along the way, he conjures up the most wonderful stories from his storyteller’s hat: about brave heroes, dastardly villains, battles, cunning and love.&nbsp;Hubertus takes you back to Breda during the Eighty Years’ War. The people of Breda must stand up to the Spanish commander Houtepen—and they do so with great flair! For however ruthless a swashbuckler Houtepen may be, he ultimately proves no match for the passion and ingenuity of the city’s residents. It is a gripping tale that storyteller Hubertus will bring to life in vivid detail: with a voice like a bell and a generous helping of humour.&nbsp;So come along, laugh, shudder, marvel and enjoy a historic afternoon you will not soon forget!&nbsp;Please note!
