Speedy Music Salon Spronk at Nederland Leest.

In November, the "Nederland Leest Campaign" will kick off at Bibliotheek Breda with the central book "Joe Speedboot" by Tommy Wieringa. In collaboration with the library, MuziekSalon Spronk presents the special musical story "Virtuoso in Full Swing." “Speed” in the true sense of the word, when 10 fingers race across the piano keys. Two young virtuoso musicians will be our guests: pianist Paulius Anderson and violinist Julija Ivanovaite, together known as the duo Andersson. They come directly from Lithuania for this concert, which is part of a prize they won, requiring them to give a number of concerts at a number of locations. During the musical story, both will perform the most difficult music ever written for their instruments. They do this with stunning ease and they will also premiere a work by their compatriot Germanavicius, which has been dedicated to them as a duo. They will conclude with the beautiful and famous sonata for violin and piano by C. Franck. All of this will be narrated in a musical story by pianist Jetje van Wijk. Doors open: half an hour before the start.
