Heilige Heide This project focuses on the Oude Buisse Heath in Zundert. Moonen and Dautzenberg were inspired by Vincent van Gogh and Henriëtte Roland Holst, both strongly connected to this place and with a deep spiritual relationship with nature. Their fascination is reflected in two monumental video installations, in which nature functions as a revealing force. Philosophers such as Spinoza, Von Humboldt, and Huizinga formed the intellectual basis: nature as unity, art as a restorative remedy, and play as the engine for change.Natuursonnetten Additionally, Moonen and Dautzenberg initiated the first Dutch circle of nature sonnets: a poetic cycle of fourteen sonnets that together form a fifteenth, the master sonnet. They wrote this master sonnet and invited various artists to interpret the series musically. Participants include, among others, Bart de Vrees, Skypunch Collective, Sabina Timmermans, Merijn Bisschops, Inez Wolters, S. Lloyd Trumpstein, Rianne Wilbers, Reinoud van Vught, Frank Crijns (†), Eric van der Westen, Rohiet Tjon Poen Gie, Jenny Ymker, and William van der Voort.

From 8 to 30 November 2025, StadsGalerij Breda will present a twin exhibition on the theme of nature, initiated by visual artist Rob Moonen and writer A.H.J. Dautzenberg.
