On 22 November, the exhibition 'Parade' by Maris van Roosmalen will be festively opened in the display cases at the central station in Breda.

As part of talent development, the IDFX foundation and KOP chose a recent graduate artist. Maris van Roosmalen, who recently graduated from St. Joost School of Art &amp; Design in Breda, was given the challenge to fill the two large display cases with a solo presentation. She created a huge and colourful creature that inhabits the display cases.

Maris explores equality and a perfect union through fantasy animals. These beings represent a utopian world for her, far from reality, where everyone comes together and time and space disappear. In her videos, she brings the fantasy animals to life in a distorted landscape based on Google Maps. It is a world where everyone walks endlessly without achieving anything, a journey through a timeless emptiness.
