We are looking for creators who want to design an iconic Breda magnet or print for on a t-shirt/hoodie. Makers who have a strong, explainable link with Breda, propagate the core values cordiality x creativity and can make a unique, striking and applicable design. This is your chance to show your creativity and create a design that will be embraced by Breda and beyond. Read below how you can participate and what the steps are, the winning designers will receive a total compensation of €950!Phase 1: enrollment Deadline: January 26, 2025 What we need:<ul><li>Motivation: Tell us about your connection to Breda and why you are suitable for this challenge.</li><li>Choice: Indicate clearly in your motivation whether you want to make a design for the magnet or the print on a t-shirt/hoodie.</li><li>Portfolio: Show what you have to offer!</li></ul>Selection process: we will select 3 creators for designing the magnet and 3 creators for the t-shirt/hoodie. You will receive an email end of day on January 27, 2025 whether you are in this selection.Apply: send your motivation and portfolio to opencall@explorebreda.com by January 26, 2025. Phase 2: designing Period: January 27 - February 9, 2025 Fee: €200 per selected creatorPreconditions for the designs:<ul><li>We are looking for designs that exude Breda's core values: warmth and creativity. We encourage you to look at our city with a positive outlook and create designs that honor Breda. Please note that designs with inappropriate language, swear words or other negative expressions will not be accepted.</li><li>The design should be iconic Breda. This can be achieved by:<ul><li>Incorporating the logo (the three crosses) very visibly into the design</li><li>Adding a typical Breda saying/slogan in the design.</li><li>Choosing a recognizable place in Breda in the design.&nbsp;Keep to the brand guidelines of the Brandbook (colors, font and logo).</li></ul></li><li>Incorporate the word 'Breda' in your design. Use the font from the brandbook.</li><li>T-shirt/hoodie: The design should be suitable for both t-shirts and hoodies.You design a print which will be screen printed on the back of the shirt by Nollab. The size of the print is 26 cm wide x 36 cm high in up to 2 colors. Suggested t-shirt color is allowed.</li></ul>Public vote: on Feb. 11, 2025, we will present the designs via social media, where the public can vote for their favorites. Beforehand, we check that all submissions meet the set conditions. The €200 fee applies to creating a design at this stage. You will receive this fee upon completion of the design. Note: in order to receive the compensation, it is necessary that you have a valid Chamber of Commerce number. By participating, you give Explore Breda and Bühne permission to use your design in this phase for public voting.&nbsp; Phase 3: Winning designs &amp; productionAnnouncement: the design for the magnet with the most votes and for the t-shirt/hoodie will be announced on February 13. Production: the final design must be with the producer by February 18, so that it will appear in the Explore Breda Store's assortment in early April.Agreements:<ul><li>The winning design will be purchased exclusively by Explore Breda and Bühne for a fee of €750.
