With his knowledge and passion for the First and Second World Wars, he combines modern research techniques with historical curiosity. By using various tools, websites, and scripts, he is able to uncover locations and stories behind photos and videos from these periods.
Tommy is, among other roles, active as an OSINT analyst for the TV series War Albums. During the lecture, he will showcase more background information using photos from these albums. The lecture also demonstrates how open-source research, thanks to continuous digitalisation, has become accessible to everyone. Whether it’s archives, newspapers, magazines, books, or photos: the information is often freely available and offers a unique opportunity to explore history interactively.
