Erato has been a staple in the Belgian Gothic Rock scene for 25 years.The band from Brussels was known as the best unsigned act in the genre. Despite changes in the line-up, the fanbase remained loyal. With albums such as A Killed God, The Irreplaceable One, Erato - III and NAiVe, they managed to touch many lovers of dark music. Their live performances were powerful and convincing, and they shared the stage with big names such as Skeletal Family, Inkubus Sukkubus, Ikon, Faith and the Muse, The Sisters of Mercy and Anne Clark.In 2015, things went quiet. An unreleased album and other priorities among some members caused the band to go on hiatus. In 2017, they came together one last time as a supporting act for Diary of Dreams.In 2022, Frank (guitarist from 1995 to 2002) came up with the idea to revive Erato. The line-up of 2017 (Jacques, Bolle and Johan) was immediately enthusiastic. Mich joined on bass and Marjo took care of drums and brass.DJ Peter plays the best New Wave during the evening.
