On Thursday evening, 17 October 2024, Bookstore Van Kemenade &amp; Hollaers and the PostSchool Foundation commemorate the liberation of Breda.René Hollaers and Joos Priem (PostSchool Foundation) discuss the importance of oral history. Additionally, PostSchool presents the book We Were Not Really Afraid, We Were Too Young for That, featuring stories from residents of Breda who experienced the war and liberation as children.Mrs. Cor Verkooijen-Geerts shares her story "Wading Through the War in Too Small Clogs". The evening begins with music from the choir ‘Against the Wind’.
