Beyond the Spanish organist Ana Aguado Rojo, Aart Bergwerff, organist of the Grote Kerk Breda, also performs.
Programme includes music by Bach, Sweelinck, and Spanish composers.
The Vierdag organ in the high choir features so-called chamades, Spanish trumpets that extend horizontally out of the organ. This trumpet stop is particularly suitable for playing Spanish Batallas, in which battles are musically depicted.
With Breda's history and the Spaniards in mind, this opening concert promises to be a true spectacle!

The concert series BACH & CO consists of six concerts on Sundays 12, 19, and 26 July, and 2, 9, and 16 August.
