During Animazing, Chassé Cinema focuses on anime, manga, and animated films. In collaboration with the Nieuwe Veste library and Kaboom Animation Festival, this time Night on the Galactic Railroad will be screened. The film is based on the eponymous Japanese fantasy novel from 1934 by Kenji Miyazawa, a classic read by generations of schoolchildren.In this symbolic animated film, Giovanni and Campanella – two cats – board a steam train that takes them through the universe. Along the way, they meet extraordinary characters, and the journey becomes increasingly mysterious and foreboding. A thoughtful film about friendship, loss, and the search for meaning.

During Animazing, Chassé Cinema will screen the Japanese animated film Night on the Galactic Railroad, in collaboration with Nieuwe Veste and Kaboom Animation Festival.
